Learn to make a beautiful hand bound keepsake book.
A bookbinding course for creative and nostalgic hearts.
I just wrapped up the biggest season of pre-orders and in true Moneeza fashion, I have not left enough time to prepare for the Holiday Gift shop. I always think there is so much more time than there actually is. I've realised some reshuffling of how and when I take pre-orders is needed. All that to say, the launch of the much awaited holiday gift shop, initially scheduled for today, has been postponed and is now set for next week, 22nd November, 6pm UK.Â
In the meantime, I wanted to kick off the holiday season with a tidy 20% off my first bookbinding course, The Keepsake Book.
This course is designed for beginners and those with some bookbinding skills looking to make a versatile hardback with an alternative layflat binding that allows you to use the book in a multitude of ways, from a sketchbook, art journal for painting/collage work, scrapbook to a traditional photo album.Â

It has been an incredible whirlwind few weeks that has seen me finalising production of new products for you that foster creative living, but now I find myself at the intersection of exhaustion and excitement. You know, the classic holiday season blend! As the universe would have it, this intense bout of designing and making over the past few months has left me feeling like the human version of my deflated 50th birthday balloon found under the sofa weeks after my party! A few days rest is in order before the shop is restocked, It will be worth the wait, that much I can promise.
I've been seated at my bureau typing away in between gazing out of the widow as a storm rages outside; the maple tree we brought over in a pot on a ferry from our home in Ireland has shed its last few leaves, I watched them scatter across the garden and imagined them as nature's way of blowing tender kisses to those that need them… if you see a crimson leaf blow past you today, maybe you can catch it and press it in a journal for yourself as a reminder of our interconnectedness through nature, all that nurtures life.Â
I'll sign off here and leave you with this hauntingly beautiful song by Kefaya, an orchestra of refugees and the hauntingly beautiful voice of Nicki Wells, a British singer and songwriter who trained in South Asian classical music. This song was inspired by Dr. Martin Luther King's dream of a "symphony of brotherhood" something we could do with right now! Whenever I've felt grief, rage or helpless in the face of injustices I see in the world, this song stirs the depths of my being and helps process those emotions. I hope you enjoy it and find some comfort in the universal language of music.
Until next time,
